ELTRADE INVENTORY - CONTACTLESS INVENTORY SYSTEM
The ELTRADE INVENTORY contactless inventory system was developed in order to optimize the servicing of the fixed tangible assets of a company. Through this method, activities such as reading, scrapping, repairing, changing location, now take only hours, instead of days or weeks. The ELTRADE INVENTORY solution is based on Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology, a form of wireless communication that uses radio waves to identify and track objects. ELTRADE INVENTORY is also available in a version based on barcode technology.
WHAT IS CONTACTLESS INVENTORY
A characteristic feature of this technology is that instead of standard paper labels, objects are marked with tags (microchip labels) that can be read remotely with a mobile scanner.
The RFID reader is directed to any point in the room, for which an inspection of the available tangible assets is made. The scanner picks up the radio waves from the microchips. The information is stored in the reader. After the counting is completed, the data is transferred to the inventory system.
The inventory can be carried out contactless and through a wireless barcode reader that reads the barcode labels and allows the operator to mobilize without the need for physical proximity to the computer on which the information is received.
