In connection with the information disseminated in the media about the readiness of the fiscal devices for the introduction of the euro, Eltrade Ltd. informs you about the successful process of updating the software of the fiscal devices manufactured by the company, as well as about the compliance with the deadline for the implementation of dual-currency printing in accordance with Ordinance H-18 of 23.05.2025, related to the introduction of the euro in Bulgaria.
The fiscal devices of Eltrade Ltd. have a built-in possibility for remote update, which is carried out automatically, through a certified and secure protocol for data exchange.
As of 08.08.2025, 90.43% of the fiscal devices manufactured by Eltrade Ltd. and functioning in retail outlets have been remotely renovated, without interference from the client. About 2% required local intervention due to specific hardware features, and the remaining 7.57% are inactive devices that have not been used in the last 12 months and most likely will not be.
Eltrade Ltd. is among the main manufacturers offering reliable and secure solutions for fiscalization. The software of the devices is a closed system that is inaccessible to external interference and guarantees compliance with the regulatory requirements of the NRA and the Ministry of Finance.
All active devices were successfully updated until 08.08.2025, when the dual-currency printing mode was activated – in euros and BGN.
