Amendments to Ordinance H-18

As of July 21, 2015, all merchants and institutions that give tickets for their services will have to register and report their sales through a fiscal cash register. This means that receipts will be mandatory when sold, for example, tickets to visit a museum, sports events, concerts, to use a sun lounger, an umbrella on the beach, etc. This is stated by the latest amendments to Ordinance H-18 of 2006 on registration and reporting of sales in retail outlets through fiscal devices, published last week in the State Gazette.

An exception to the new rule for the issuance of receipts for the sale of tickets for services is made in the cases when it comes to the sale of tickets, cards, subscription cards for the carriage of passengers, when their issuance is mandatory under a normative act, as well as in the sale of tickets, tickets, coupons and other certifying signs for participation in games of chance. However, these tickets for transport or participation in games of chance must contain a permanently entered face value at the time of printing and at least two security elements on the paper and/or at the time of printing, as well as be printed in accordance with the Ordinance on the Terms and Conditions for Printing and Control of Securities.

Until now, all traders and institutions that sold tickets printed under the Ordinance on the terms and conditions for printing and control over securities were not obliged to register and report them through a fiscal cash register. Now they all have one month from the entry into force of the amendments to the ordinance – until July 21 to buy and register their cash register with the NRA.
