What are the opportunities for efficient use of resources through the implementation of automated services in business? This was the topic of the presentation of Stanislav Radev, head of the Eltrade office in Varna, which he presented during the forum “Innovations in Tourism”, organized by Varna University of Management (VUM).
At the event, which took place on January 31 in the building of the educational institution in Varna, the participants (current and future professionals in tourism) got acquainted with the capabilities of the Eltrade software for the management of shops and restaurants “Detelina”. The presentation included practical demonstrations of Detelina for restaurants and establishments, the software for booking through a tablet, the solution for managing supply orders, “Clover mobile reports” and the inventory system ELTRADE INVENTORY.
The lecture series presented topics related to sustainability innovations in the hospitality, restaurant industry, culinary arts and the service sector. Among the focuses of the forum were, in addition to the automation of business services (presented by Eltrade), the robotization of the tourism sector. In the words of Prof. Stanislav Ivanov, Vice-Rector of the Higher School of Tourism, the shortage of human resources in the field of tourism will push more and more companies to use robots and artificial intelligence.
The latest trends in the development of technologies and innovations for hotels and restaurants will also be presented during the second edition of the Business and Tourism Exhibition “Destination Varna”. It will be held from 28 to 30 November 2018 at the Palace of Culture and Sports. Eltrade received an invitation to participate in this forum from Pavlin Kosev, chairman of the Varna Association of Restaurateurs and Hoteliers (VHRA), which is the organizer of the event.
