The car light manufacturer Odelo Bulgaria, which opened a plant in the village of Kuklen near Plovdiv in 2019, implemented an Eltrade canteen system to reduce food defects. The company provides free food to its employees and the lack of accurate information about the orders made and the consumption realized leads to waste of products and higher costs.
The solution proposed by Eltrade automates the entire process – from the delivery of products, the creation of recipes and the preparation of menus, to the service of the canteens. The functioning of the system was consistent with the specific needs of the site – to be administered by an external catering company; employees in the administration to be able to make requests from a phone or PC through a web module (from the country or abroad), and those from the production to order food through a stationary terminal for orders, as all requests are electronic and the system functions without printing paper notes.
Odelo Bulgaria selected Eltrade as a partner on the recommendation of other customers with canteen systems of the company from the region of Pazardzhik and Plovdiv – the aircraft plant Latecoer, DS Smith Bulgaria (part of the British packaging company DS Smith) and the manufacturer of automotive components Costal Bulgaria Automotive.
