A hostel with a vegetarian and vegan bistro reopened its doors to its fans last month in the center of the old town in Bansko. In search of a lasting solution to improve the service of orders in the kitchen, the owner chose the solution for Eltrade restaurants, recommended to him by a partner and his business counterparties on the Black Sea coast.
The house that houses the restaurant was built in 1830 and is part of the architectural cultural heritage of the resort. The owner, who is English, is an entrepreneur with long-term business investments in Bulgaria. She likes the Revival style of Bansko very much, which is why she preserves and restores the authentic appearance of the house, giving her restaurant called LE RETRO domestic coziness, typical for the XIX century, but with a modern flavor of comfort, attitude and cuisine.
The manager chooses the commercial software “Detelina BOS+POS”, with an integrated module “Kitchen Display Control”, specially translated into English, so that he can easily handle the program, and the interface language can be changed depending on who uses it.
According to the owner, one of the biggest advantages of the chosen solution is the balance between price, quality and the implementation of the integration. In order to improve the service in the summer garden, he plans to purchase two licenses for the POS application for Android in the spring, with which the waiter will take the order on a tablet or smartphone and it will be recorded in real time in the database of commercial software.
