What are the business benefits of using sustainable management systems in restaurants? This question was answered by the participants in the seminar for small and medium-sized enterprises from the Balkan-Mediterranean region, dedicated to sustainable tourism, held at the end of February in Varna. Stanislav Radev, Head of Offices for the Northern Bulgaria region of Eltrade, presented to the guests the Detelina restaurant system, the Call center order processing and delivery system, the POS application for Android, the mobile booking system and the Detelina module for inquiries through mobile devices.
Over 100 participants and guests gathered in the conference hall of Varna University of Management to hear the presentations of recognized lecturers, including lecturers and experts in the field of management, marketing and tourism, representatives of tourist associations, as well as prominent entrepreneurs and innovators from the tourism sector. They presented innovative solutions and proposals on various topics on the sustainability spectrum – responsible and affordable tourism, development of tourist destinations, the need for digitalization and new software solutions for sustainable management of restaurants and hotels.
The open discussions were also attended by guests from Albania, Greece and North Macedonia, who exchanged experience with each other and discussed the applicability of the approaches presented to them.
